We have 5 designers, a photographer and copywriter. All of them are qualified, professional designers and are committed to continuous professional development as part of our culture of life-long learning.
Some of our team members have Bachelors of Commerce degrees, some Graphic design degrees. Three of our designers successfully completed the Webflow Expert Course. Our accounts administrator finished top of her class in the higher certificate of business management from Mancosa.
Pathfind Media also has a strategic partnership with Stadio Higher Education's Work Integrated learning. They send us their top students to intern on a regular basis from their Degree-based course in the School of Media and Design.
Jo is passionate about creative communication through intelligent design. After completing his BComm degree, he worked at different organisations in a marketing capacity, which included managing website projects. While working with developers, designers, and copywriters, he realized the powerful combination of these three services – and this led to the founding of Pathfind Media, a boutique brand and web marketing agency.
Upon obtaining further qualifications, Jo considers himself a frontend website designer with expert project management ability and good business sense. He loves team collaboration and thrives on continuous learning. When he is not working, he loves spending time in the great outdoors, handiwork, and experiencing new places locally and abroad (he has seen 32 different countries).
His ultimate priority is to be the best husband to his wife, father to his three girls, and to live for a Higher purpose.
Jayme-Leigh plays a key role in setting the course of this ship! With a background in the tourism industry, where she organised dream holidays for multi-generational families, she has a wellspring of experience in administration. This and extensive exposure to various cultures contribute to her valuable people and organisational skills.
True to the pathfinder nature, Jayme loves constantly learning and growing. Besides the several financial short courses, she has also completed her studies in Business Management at The Management College of Southern Africa at the top of her class. Socially, Jayme loves to volunteer, travel, hike, read, spend quality time with friends and family, and do the occasional DIY project.
Joel is a creator at heart – he is most satisfied when his ideas become tangible and help people in the real world. His journey with frontend website design extends all the way back to his high school years. He started out with a small side project developing and managing a now well-established online news and media platform for cyclists, attracting readers globally.
Ever since, he has immersed himself in the study of industrial and product design, specifically the understanding of user-centric design to apply expert design tactics. He prides himself in creating websites that inspire and engage with people on high levels of visual communication. When he is not in his office chair, Joel can be spotted pushing the limits on his bicycle or adventuring in some of the local mountain reserves. And yes, he is best operated caffeinated.
